It’s been an incredible stretch for Riviera ISD Athletics — our programs are competing with passion, discipline, and unity across the board. Seahawk Volleyball is chasing a district title, Cross Country is headed to Regionals, and Football continues to make strides in its first season of growth, showing grit and determination each week.

Get ready for a week full of fun, books, and excitement in the library! 📖✨

Our Small Animal Management students spent the day at the Gulf Coast Humane Society learning about animal welfare and the importance of shelters in our community. Students helped bathe dogs, made enrichment treats, and spent time socializing with both dogs and cats. It was a great hands-on experience full of wagging tails and purrs! 💙🐶🐱

In the first 9 weeks, the Spanish Classes had several guest speakers come and speak to us. The topic was “Why is it important to be Bilingual”. We had nurses, Constables, parents, coaches, and grandparents. We enjoyed every single one of them. We appreciate everyone who took the time to visit us.

The DLP Seahawks battled tough Thursday night against a very physical Freer Buckaroo squad. Despite the challenge, our boys showed grit and determination from start to finish!

🔥 Jaime Gonzales provided the highlight of the night with a 57-yard touchdown run, breaking through defenders for the Seahawks’ lone score.
💪 Derrik Gonzales also ran hard throughout the evening, keeping the offense moving.
🛡️ On defense, Oran Dodd, Liam Mayberry, Trevor Urban, and Lucas Ramos all turned in strong performances, flying to the football and making big stops.

The Seahawks now turn their focus to next week as they travel to Skidmore to take on the Bobcats. Kickoff is set for 5:00 PM next Thursday!
