Last night the Riviera Seahawks hosted Staff Appreciation Night to honor the hard work and dedication that the staff of RISD puts into their students every single day. It was a great turnout from start to finish with the Seahawks earning a 12-2 win over La Villa.
Kindergarten has been learning about the life cycle of a plant. To wrap up the unit each student planted their own seeds and have been making daily observations.
We’re proud of our Riviera FFA Horse Judging team for competing at the Area X Horse Judging Contest this past Saturday, April 12th, in College Station, TX! Yesterday, our KECHS running Hawks traveled to TAMUK to participate in the UIL 2A Area 31-32 Track and Field Meet. As always, our athletes showed up to compete! 7 athletes are Regional Bound! One athlete earned the title of Area CHAMPION in his event and another is the Runner-Up in her event! These 7 athletes will compete at the Regional Meet at TAMUK next Friday and Saturday.
