On Saturday, 9/16, the Riviera Seahawk Varsity XC teams traveled to Corpus Christi to participate in the Islander Splash XC Meet hosted by TAMUCC. Both the Boys and Girls teams ran in the Small School division, consisting of 1A-4A schools and over 300 runners in each division. Our athletes ran their best in the heat, humidity, and wet course. It was a great experience for the Freshman that have never run at this meet, as this course is the site of the Regional Meet. Our MS and HS teams will run next in the Javelina Invitational hosted by TAMUK at LE Ramey Golf Course in Kingsville on 9/23.

Congratulations to our De La Paz Middle School football and volleyball players! The boys took the win versus Bruni, and the girls recently defeated Lasara. We are so proud of you, Seahawks!

Mr. Lozano also reminded the campus of our "Seahawk Standards" during morning announcements. Thank you both for your time and also for your generous donations to our district!
