SEAHAWKS GAMING WINS vs Alberta Canada
In its first official scrimmage of the Esport Season, Seahawks Gaming, takes the win vs BCHS of Alberta Canada.
The Seahawks duo, consisting of gamers Aaron Ten cate and Remington Perryman, swept the BANFF Bears in straight sets with a final round count of 20 rounds for the Seahawks to 12 rounds for the Bears.

Our KECHS running Seahawks competed at the Region IV 2A Cross Country Championships in Corpus Christi, on Monday, October 21st.
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls team for placing 9th out of 21 teams. The team consisted of Lauren Sandoval (23rd), Katelina Rendon (32nd), Adelina Bell (87th), Jordyn Salazar (88th), Morgan Butler (91st), Mica Gutierrez, and Miranda Garcia. Over 159 girls were running and our girls ran their hearts out!
Congratulations to Roan Bell. In a field of 172 boys, he placed 69th.
Way to go to these hard-working athletes and representing Riviera ISD at the next level!

The following Riviera FFA members competed in the Hoggie LDE Invitational competition at TAMUK on Friday, October 18th. Their placings are as follows:
Senior Quiz Team (AJ Ortega, Piper Colston, Elizabeth Ivey, Anley Gonzales, Adelina Bell)- 5th overall, AJ Ortega was 3rd place high point individual.
Greenhand Quiz Team (Alyssa Bursiel, Maisyn Bippert, Grace Bull, Morgan Butler, Gabby Hare, Hailey Huff, and Ava Mayberry)- 1st overall, Alyssa Bursiel was 1st place high point individual.
Greenhand Creed Speaking- Maisyn Bippert placed 3rd overall and Gabby Hare placed 7th overall.
Greenhand Spanish Creed Speaking- Luis Lugo placed 1st overall.
Senior Spanish Creed Speaking- Karla Lugo placed 6th overall.
Radio Broadcasting Team (Haley Dobson, Evelyn Mejia, and Destinee Reyes)- 4th overall.

Kindergarten students have been exploring with magnets. Our little scientists were asked to predict which objects were attracted to the magnets and then used their magnets to test out their predictions.
