TSI
The Texas Success Initiative replaced the Accuplacer test. The TSIA2 is the updated and most recent version of this test. This assessment measures students’ ability to comprehend advanced level Reading, Writing, and Math concepts.
Students must take and pass these tests in order to be College Ready and enroll in advanced-level college courses.
Dual credit courses such as Psychology, English, US History, Government, and College Algebra. These courses are dual credit, meaning the student will earn high school credit and college hours.
Testing for Math and English Language arts can be scheduled on any school day via email. The student must make arrangements with his/her teachers to attend a testing session and is responsible for any missed work. Students can also make after-school testing appointments on Monday-Thursday.
