Freshman Year

Freshman Year

Kaufer Early College High School congratulates you! Your hard work has brought you to your freshman year of high school. As an incoming freshman, you will be taught a new form of academic vocabulary. You will pick up on these new experiences quickly. As you do, continue to adjust your academic goals accordingly. EDUC 1300 will be the first college course you take. This will directly teach you how to use Coastal Bend College Cougar Den. Not only will you be a student of Kaufer Early College High School but also a Dual Credit student of Coastal Bend College. Depending on the courses you take you could also be a Dual Credit student of Texas A&M University- Kingsville. Freshman are required to have a plan in place in order to schedule classes correctly.
